Accountant & Bookkeeper

I began working at Cameron Kirk Rose accountants in Armidale in 1998, in their taxation and business services department, whilst finishing my Bachelor of Financial Administration at the University of New England.

I then received my Chartered Accountants qualification at the end of 2004.

I continued working until 2009, when I switched to full time “Mum”-mode of 3 very active boys – Caleb (2009), Lucas (2010) & Liam (2014).

In 2018, I started my own Bookkeeping business, taking advantage of working from home, and have been doing this continually up until my employment at NECOM in January 2025.

I am thoroughly enjoying the blend of my accounting skill set and my love for music (I have been learning saxophone from Paul Marshall at NECOM since 2002, and also play in the New England Wind Ensemble)!

Music has always been a part of my life – starting when I learnt flute in primary school, adding the electronic organ in secondary high school, and studying music for my HSC.

Music has always provided me with many opportunities to build my confidence and meet many different people who share my love of music.
