With over 35 years of teaching experience, Sally is a dedicated music educator with NECOM, providing music instruction and mentorship to schools across the Armidale region.

After 20 years teaching K–6 primary education, she transitioned to music and has spent the past 15 years specializing in percussion ensembles, piano, and primary-level choirs.

As a conductor, she has led student ensembles to perform at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House and Schools Spectacular, fostering confidence and a love of performance.

Holding a Bachelor of Education, Sally believes that music should be accessible to all children and is committed to nurturing a passion for music that will sustain students throughout their lives.

Beyond teaching, Sally is passionate about mentoring educators, equipping them with the confidence and skills to integrate music into their classrooms.

By empowering teachers, she aims to expand the reach of quality music education, ensuring more students have the opportunity to engage with music.

Through her work with NECOM, Sally continues to inspire both students and teachers, making music an essential and enriching part of education in the community.
